르네상스라는 그룹으로 2장의 앨범을 남긴뒤
홀연히 사라졌다가

Medicine Head, Armageddon의 앨범을 통해 컴백한후 ,

76년 연주도중 감전사로 세상을 떠나고 말았던
키스렐프의 동생  제인 렐프(Jane Relf).
.
그리고 역시 Yardbirds,The 출신으로
르네상스의 개국공신이었던 짐 맥카티에 의해 만들어진
전설적인 명 그룹입니다.
.
3장의 귀중한 레코딩을 통해
이젠 말 그대로 '전설'로 남아버린 그들이지만,
.
이후 그들을 모방한 수많은 그룹들의 동명의 이름들로인해
많은 혼돈과 억척을 불러 일으키기도 했었습니다.
.
7-80년대 Illusion이란 그룹의 이름을
그룹네임으로 사용한 그룹은
적어도 3개 ~ 4개 정도는 된다고 기억합니다.
.
그중에서 "(Psych) Illusion,The"이란 그룹 이외에는
모두 거론의 가치조차 없는 3류 락 밴드였습니다.
